We make no bones about it. We love Zagat's. And as they grow, they introduce cool, new surveys. A recent one we've already referenced looked at the best - and worst - airlines.
Below are the highlights, and you can read full report here.

The top overall international airlines, based on comfort, food, service and website, with 30 as the top rating:
  • Singapore Airlines - 28
  • Cathay Pacific - 25
  • Virgin Atlantic - 25
  • Emirates - 24
  • ANA - 24
  • Air New Zealand - 24

British Airways didn't fare too well in the survey. They received 15 (comfort), 14 (food), 17 (service), and 19 (website).

Virgin Atlantic did better with an 18 (comfort), 19 (food), 21 (service), and 21 (website).

The best international airports were listed as Hong Kong, Singapore Changi, Munich, Tel Aviv and Amsterdam Schiphol.

The worst were Paris Charles de Gaulle, Beijing Capital, Rome Riumicino and yes, you guessed it, London Heathrow and London Gatwick at the very end.

U.S. airlines frustrate most consumers on most levels. But if you have to fly one within the United States, these six have the best overall rating.
  • Virgin America - 24
  • Midwest Airlines - 23
  • Continental Airlines - 20
  • Hawaiian Airlines - 19
  • JetBlue Airlines - 19
  • Alaska Airlines - 18

As for the best airports, Tampa, Denver, Minneapolis, Orlando and Detroit get those honours, with New York LaGuardia, Miami, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and New York JFK at the bottom of the list.

Enjoy your flight!
