Not getting enough of the green stuff? Get back into form at Derrybawn House's Golf Clinic. (Non-golfers fear not, you can also shop and spa.)
Ireland's Derrybawn House is the perfect spot for a weekend break or - even better - a group break. Their seven bedrooms (six doubles and one large single) are perfect for a large booking, with self-catering or catered meals in the formal dining room or around the kitchen table.
The rooms are luxurious and unique, with the Viking room requiring special mention (it's got a TV in the bed, which is shaped like a Viking helmet), the common rooms are elegant but comfortable, and the grounds are expansive and perfect for power or leisure walks.
And the golf!
The Eamonn D'Arcy Golf Clinic is offering a package that includes two ours of lessons from Eamon D'Arcy himself on the Derrybawn green, followed by 18 holes at the Druids Glen Golf Club. You also get brunch and dinner, transfers to and from the golf club, and some free stuff to take home.
And should you not be a golfer, there's plenty to do.
Kildare Village (run by the same group as Bicester Village) is not far away, and includes TSE, Ralph Lauren, Le Creuset, LK Bennett and more. The Cottage, on the grounds of Derrybawn House, offers a variety of treatments.
No reason to miss your game (be it golf or shopping) any longer!
