OK, and work out. We've got our priorities straight.
Drink
We don't know why anyone would want night to fall earlier on these long summer days, but just in case you did, you might like to know about Corney & Barrow's terrace running alongside Billiter Street. We walked past at 6:20pm on a warm evening and it was so dark we couldn't help but wish we had someone with whom to sip Champagne in one of their dark corners.
Play
We do know why people want to head to Devonshire Terrace, though. Cinnamon Kitchen. And now, not only is there a piano to play, there's also miniature golf! It's running through the end of the summer, and the perfect way to get a little exercise before eating their exquisite food.
Eat
If Thailand isn't on your map this year (and you, like us, can never get enough Thai food in your belly), then head over to the Greenwich Park Grandstand for the Taste of Thailand Festival. It's taking place on Saturday and Sunday, and once you're full on green chicken curry from Blue Elephant's chef (or any other delishes on offer), you can get a massage! Perfect.
Picnic
Picnicking at Kenwood House is a civilised way to pass a summer's evening. But if you're ready to cut a rug after all that white wine, then you'd best head there this weekend for Motown's Greatest Hits - Dancing in the Street. Except that everyone will be dancing on the lawn. And there is no doubt it will be fun.
And One for the Week...
After all that eating and drinking, you're going to have to work it off. Alas. 37 Degrees is offering free Beach Body Workouts every Wednesday morning from 7:30-8:30am through the 26th of August. They take place at The Scoop at More London. Your office has a shower you can use after, right?
