New places, old places, proper places, fun places. They're all here.
Drink
There are few things we like more than having drinks in a place we don't normally have drinks. This weekend, that means Parsons Green, where Cloudy Bay will be serving their Sauvignon blanc alongside seafood dishes (live jazz and a cloud-watching area) from 11-8pm on Saturday & Sunday. You could also opt for the Bombay Sapphire Dusk bar at Somerset House, for a more central, riverside spot. These bars aren't free, but they are fun.

Actually, we might like the Four Seasons more than those drinks, and we also have a thing for good manners (see: The Properlys). So the children's book, Wiggens Learns His Manners at the Four Seasons Restaurant, might be the perfect thing for us (especially if served with a Martini in a sippy cup). It's co-written by the owner of the Four Season, which is totally strange, but also totally cool by us. Published this week and available here.
Chill
Outside, outside, outside. And where better to soak up the good weather than in an art installation designed to allow reclining, relaxing and sky appreciation? It's located outside the Hayward Gallery at the Southbank Centre until the 14th of September.
Play
Guys (and poker-playing girls): Bring your best faces to Leicester Square this evening for Poker in the Park - Europe's largest poker festival. Exactly what this means, we're not sure. But you can find out more here.
One For the Week
Need to spice up your Mondays (or your love life, or just your dance skills)? Salsateca is running salsa classes every Monday at Firefly Bar near St Paul's. Classes are £8 each and cover all levels, and what's better, you can reward yourself with a mojito afterward. (Good grief, are we always this singularly minded?)
