Eat

Next time you need to refuel in Westbourne Grove, stop by Pix. The pintxos bar serves Spanish mini-tapas on wooden sticks which, at the end of your stay, are counted (and multiplied by £2.50). It's not a place for a full meal, but it's a good place for a glass of cava and a snack.

Camp

Our cool friend is running a cool singles camping event. It's taking place the 16th-18th of October in Dorset, and is guaranteed not to suck. A no-holds-barred scavenger hunt, s'mores with real American graham crackers, and a state of mind that won't be like any singles event you've attended before.

Fête

If village fêtes aren't your thing, then the Alternative Village Fête probably is. Taking place this weekend at the National Theatre and being produced by Home Live Art. Everything you'd expect will be on, only probably cooler than you've seen before.

Plan

Want to pretend you live in Africa? Sausage Tree Camp on the Zambezi River in Zambia is opening a two-bedroom house this autumn, complete with full bar, dining room, private pool and open-plan living room with verandah. Be it with your best friends, your parents, or your kids, it'll be fabulous.

Quit

Smoking, silly. And if you need some help, make yourself available for this seminar on the 10th of October. Get 20% off tickets by using the promotional code QUIT.
