Whether you wonder about stuff or want to find out about wonder(ful) stuff, new site Wonderstuff ('Your lifestyle fix at a click') is a good place to start.
The new site employs a formula we've seen before: experts (and punters) answer questions posted by punters.

But instead of questions about deep thoughts or top tips (for girls), it's about everything related to the fun stuff in life.

There are four categories and seven experts: Fashion, Beauty, Food and Drink. Most of the experts are women, all work for recognised media outlets, and two of the seven have double-barrelled last names (which no doubt makes them qualified to advise use on pork belly slices and six-pack abs).

As the days are early for the site, it's better for browsing than it is for searching. For example, there isn't a recipe for cheesecake yet, but there is one for lamb neck fillets. And while there isn't a list of places to get cheap manicures in London, there is an entry on exfoliating with an electric Oral B toothbrush (seriously!).

On the plus side, you can ask a question without registering, but I expect that will lead to a number of accidental questions, like the one I asked when I thought I was searching. It simply reads 'rice krispy treat recipe'.

Perhaps I'd better sign up and answer the question myself, and find out about cheap manicures in London!

P.S. Expert Rebecca Howard from Grazia and GMTV answered my question about cheap manicures:

"You've hit on a real beauty problem here. Unlike State-side nail bars that are cheap, quick and effective, we make more of a fuss about mani's and pedi's. While there are many high st chains that offer a file and re-shape (think of Nails Inc and the New York Nail Company) you won't get the kind of nail-fix you are used to. Again, not cheap, but undoubtedly the best over here, hun out a Leighton Denny-trained nail technician (find your nearest on leightondenny.com). Having trained in Florida he really 'gets' what is needed and demanded by the most discerning of manicure clients. Expect to pay upwards of £30."

P.P.S. I signed up and answered the Rice Krispy Treat Recipe question:

"As I meant to search for this and not ask it, I feel compelled to apologise, and now answer it!

Marshmallows aren't easy to come by in the UK, but when you find them, buy them, because Rice Krispy Treats are the easiest, most delicious things around.

Melt 50g butter and mix in approximately 300g of marshmallows. Once melted, add 6 cups of Rice Krispys, mix quickly and spread into greased 9x13 pan. Let cool and eat! Needless to say, especially good for kids, or if you ate them as a kid : )"

P.P.P.S. Would you please email me if you know where I can get a cheap manicure?  Thanks.
