The Weekend: Starts with Friday the 13th, and ends lucky, thanks to Badly Drawn Boy, drinks under glass, a hot new restaurant and a naked bike ride. Seriously.
Eat
Beat Friday the 13th with a lucky cake designed by Badly Drawn Boy, available this month and next at Konditor & Cook (now open at the Gherkin). The retro cakes feature jackpot cherries, a horseshoe and a four-leaf clover. Surely one of those will work (and if it don't, you can feel good that 50p from each sold goes to charity The Food Chain).
Drink
With a dismal forecast for Sunday, have an indoor-outdoor experience with performances and drinks at Sunday Chill at the Sanderson's Long Bar.
Visit
Love looking into other people's homes? Do it legitimately this weekend at Artists at Home. (And how much more interesting are artists' homes than our own?)
Make
A reservation at new restaurant, Hélène Darroze at the Connaught, which opens on the 14th of July. Ms Darroze's Paris restaurant is one of the best in town, so expect great things here in London. She replaces Angela Hartnett, who can now be found in Miami. 020 7499 7070
Ride
Get naked and get on your horse (OK, bike) at the fifth Naked Bike Ride, this Saturday in Hyde Park.
