You won't need any sunscreen on Saturday, but Sunday will be a different story. So get out your fancy new BBQ, check out some rock star's recipes, visit the nicely refurbished Punch Bowl, or take a spin on the Greenwich Wheel. Or visit that beach.
Eat

Need some inspiration before you cook Sunday lunch? Visit Cooking With Rockstars, a retro site with video interviews. Recipes are of course included, and we'd like to recommend Robyn Hitchcock's hilarious recipe for Food Pie, or Jack Black's Dorito Burrito for a way-past-midnight snack.

Drink

Mayfair's Punch Bowl has been refurbished by Madonna's (soon-to-be-ex?) husband and Mahiki owner Piers Adam. And reports are that they did a very good job - it's a bit more swish, but has stayed true to its roots, and is serving pretty good g-pub food in the back room. The biggest change? The price of drinks. Up considerably.

Buy

We're partial to Weber BBQs, but we have to admit that this one is quite a bit cooler. Uh, or hotter. So we mention it from a purely aesthetic place - BBQ masters might have something else to say. It uses charcoal, and is the perfect size for London balconies.

Hunt

Didn't even know there was a Tower Beach, huh. Neither did we. But it's at the Tower of London, and it's going to be open for two hours on Saturday (12-2) and Sunday (12:30-2:30) for treasure hunters. Archaeologists will be on hand to help identify objects, and in the past, punters have found clay pipes, Roman glass and fragments of pottery.

Visit

With a beautiful Sunday forecasted, take a trip down to Greenwich for a spin on their wheel. You can see all the way to St. Paul's, and it's open from 10-10, so perfect for the family outing or the romantic cruise. And then you can stand on top of the Prime Meridian, which never fails to entertain us.
