What a refreshing weekend. An non-alcoholic 'drink' (but sugar none-the-less), a creative way to clothe yourself, an old fashioned fete, a rock 'n roll benefit, and a whole slew of restaurants perfect for summer.

Stuck for inspiration? Check out the Telegraph's article on the 50 best restaurants for summer. Divided into five sections (By the Sea, Great Value, Local Hotspots, Al Fresco and Family Friendly), they cover the whole country and will led you directly to the perfect spot. Like the Petersham Nurseries, The Hind's Head and Mangal.
Drink
For the first time - and probably only time - we're going to tell you about something non-alcoholic. And it's a trend that's sweeping cupcake shops across the world (so hopefully coming here soon). Frosting shots. Forget the cupcake, just take a shot of your favourite frosting, served in a tiny paper cup (or, in a hip Manhattan spot, vintage shot glasses). Bottoms up, indeed.
Go
The Innocent Village Fete is this weekend, and as of writing, tickets are still available. But we hold no guarantees. Bands, hilarious activities (ferret racing and duck herding, hilarious, no?), along with delicious things to eat and buy (and, of course, smoothies) explain why this will probably sell out.
Book
Tickets to Camden Calling, a benefit to fund art projects for the homeless of Camden. Held at the Forum Kentish Town next Friday the 8th, you can simultaneously have a gritty rock night AND help make a difference. To find out more (and hear tracks from Redtrack, Brixton Hill Billies and MOTIV, who will be playing), click here.

Admittedly, we haven't been yet, but when one of our totally in-the-know friends suggested we go here sometime, we knew we were onto a winner. The Make Lounge is a place to hang out and make something. The workshops will teach you to make things like knickers, Japanese journals, tote bags with corsage, candles and clothes. And that's just this month.
