We don't know anyone who's attended The School of Life (the one in Bloomsbury, anyway), but we love the idea. A centre offering courses like: Play (making the most of your free time), Family (how your past can help make your future a success) and Work (making your working life more fulfilling), along with ones on Politics and Love. Part philosophy, part practical application. A good recipe for, well, life.
Your Intentions
Get organised with a more useful fridge magnet. These single-word magnets (available in a variety of sizes) will remind you of what you've decided matters this year (Tidy Up, Do, Dream, Happy, Today) - and maybe even help keep you out of the fridge.
Your Home
Need a new look? Create your own art (wallpaper in this case) with your own photos. Be it one huge image or a mural of dozens, your surroundings will be instantly improved. Which means your life will be too.
Your Kitchen
You've got to eat, so you may as well learn while you do. If you're anywhere near Marylebone, sign up for L'Atelier Des Chefs' Cook, Eat & Run class. In 30 minutes, you'll learn to cook a meal, and then you'll get to eat it. And all for £18.
(and let's not forget) Your Body
We finally got over ourselves and bought some Uggs (in metallic pewter, no less). We haven't taken them off, but will once our Ugg slippers arrive. And once we can part with those, we'll be dropping our peds in a Comfeet Foot Soak. There are four detoxing varieties (Beauty, Sport, Energy, Deodorant) so there's one for whatever area of your bod you'd like to improve. May we suggest you follow suit (starting with the Uggs).
