Wanna know what that means? You'll have to read on. But with burritos, whisky and a bit of audio and visual art, it hurt at all...
Eat
Tomorrow, Chilango is giving away free burritos in Islington. (Why does Islington get all the good Mexican restaurants?) They're opening their second location on Upper Street and celebrating the same way they did when they opened on Fleet Street. Get queuing.
Listen
Speaking of red hot things, we used to LOVE the Red, Hot and Blue compilations, which benefited HIV and AIDS charity, the Red Hot Organisation. And now there's a new one, with two discs and lots of excellent music from Feist, Arcade Fire, The National Yo La Tengo, Iron & Wine and more.
Drink
You thought we'd go on to tequila, right? (So did we.) But with Whisky Livethis weekend, the shift in gears was necessary. Saturday is, alas, sold out, but tickets are still available for tonight's Gala Event. And what could be better than wearing a black tie with your black label?
Buy
Yet another art fair. But this one is alive. The Kinetica Art Fair is the UK's first art fair dedicated to kinetic, robotic, sound, light and time-based art. It's taking place all weekend in Marylebone, and while none of it may fit perfectly over your bed, your bonus wouldn't allow for it this year anyway. Cool to see, though.
Shag
And speaking of your bed, have you run out of room for more notches on the post? How about a tool to help you keep track of your exploits? It's a bit like writing down everything you eat or everything you spend. Totally scary. Hopefully.
