The inaugural Here Is The City Charity Poker Championship (sponsored by executive recruiter Napier Scott) took place Thursday night at The Sportsman Casino in Marble Arch.
Julian walked off with the lions share of the pot, beating a group of worthy competitors from Barclays Capital, Bloomberg, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Dresdner Kleinwort, Goldman Sachs, HSBC Investment Bank and UBS.
Coming in second place was Talal Shakerchi from Meditor Capital Management, who generously donated his cash prize to children's charity Starlight.
In third place was Peter Andreas from Barclays Capital.
The event benefitted children's charity, Starlight, which will receive a cheque for £8,490.
