As much as we like a good deal, we also like individuality. Hence, we regularly pick up things on our travels, and spend more than we should on international shipping. It's a never-ending quest, but one which we love.
Right now, these are our three favourite sources for stuff:
Portero
An online luxury auction house, Portero promises that everything they sell is authentic (which means you get to feel good about the 'reuse' part of 'reduce, reuse and recycle').
Handbags, jewellery, scarves, fine housewares and even art, it's all here. And did we mention it's a US site? Which means that everything is half-priced (which means you get to feel good about being fiscally responsible too!). Their international shipping options are not exactly a deal, but it's a small price to pay for the great deals to be had.
Luisa Via Roma
When you can't get to The Mall outside Florence, let Louisa Via Roma bring fashion deals to you. Admittedly, not everything on the site is a deal, but everything is sold in euros, so it might be worth a quick price comparison before you splash out on that Chloe dress.
They also have some cute kids items, and clothing and shoes for men. What they sell is a bit random, and that's why we like it.
Nina and Lola
Nina and Lola sells small designer and vintage stuff from their great site, which lists vintage items by era (Edwardian, Jazz, Art Deco, New Look, Mod/Space Age, Disco Glam, New Wave/Punk, Minimalism/Mega-Brands) or by size. How easy is that?
Their list of designers is carefully selected and you can be assured no one else in your office will have the same skirt/top/shoes/whatever. Nina runs the show, and Lola is her fibreglass model.

Madame A and Madame B live in penthouses down the hall from each other not far from The Square Mile. One works for an American bank, one is
just an American. Both require their identities to be secret for a
variety of reasons, but mostly because they'd like to stay out of hot
water with their partners and bank managers.
