The Soul Sister gets propositioned. A tough spot for a medical professional. Will she be a match for our man, the fit VP?
Dear Soul Sistah

How about a date? I'm a respectable VP in environmental risk at a big bank and not obscene on the eyes (I play footballl at weekends, so I'm fit, and can't wait for the Here Is The City 5-a-side tourney), but have no luck w/the ladies. Doing some soul searching, thus I've come to you (and not my sister!).

PJ

Dear PJ

Sounds like you are far too good a guy for the ladies to miss out on, but I wonder - are you out there enough? Can they find you?

You're busy at work and playing football on the weekends - neither of which are brimming with eligible women. So take a look at the class schedule at your gym and go to something women like.

You'd be very popular in Yoga or Pilates, plus it would improve your flexibility to no end (not a bad thing at all!).

Same applies to other classes. It's so much nicer to get to know someone through a shared interest like wine, archaeology or cooking - whatever takes your fancy. London is so rich in its offerings - I'm sure you'll learn some fantastic things and find someone to share them with too.

PS - Thank you for the offer but I make it a practise to not date patients (something of which my husband approves, and which would in any case contravene the UKCP code of ethics to which I adhere).
