I have tried a number of ways to find true love. In fact I would have settled for a half decent bloke that didn't scare my flatmates or didn't lick his knife and shovel his food. Not a lot to ask for.
My best dates have come from internet dating, and one of my favourites was the foot fetish father of two with a third on the way.
He asked about my feet, their size, shape and if I had ever stepped on balloons until they burst, or sunk my feet into fluffy pillows (two of his big turn-ons).
Bored with no one else paying me any attention I mentioned I'd had a pedicure to see what would happen. He asked if there was a cream I could use to get rid of it.
We chatted for a few weeks - just as friends - until the day his wife logged on as him.
She was great.
We ended up chatting about how she wished he would be more normal in the bedroom but it was just foot rub after foot rub. I sympathised, but really thought she'd hit the jackpot!
Internet dating is certainly something special. You can pretend you are a size 8 with a very important job and live in a posh area.
If you actually fancy the bloke then it becomes difficult when he has to pick up a size 14 girl from a quiet council estate after she's knocked off from her shift at the chippy.
Of course I never fibbed when I dated online - I would tend to undersell myself and if they were still keen then they were clearly desperate and I was in for a terrible date.
