To get back in the game, follow these tips:

• First impressions count. You have seven seconds to get it right so make sure you look your best.
• You want to look stylish but be true to yourself. Work with what you've got, find out what colours and shapes suit you, and dress accordingly. Put simply, women notice if a man is well dressed.
• Grooming is essential. Women will notice unkempt hair, dirty nails or unruly eye-brows. Make sure you are clean (and that means hands and nails too), your body hair trimmed, and your breath is fresh.
• According to Armani, a scent can become the most distinguishing feature of a man, but women often complain of too much. Be modest and choose your scent carefully. It may be the most memorable thing you leave behind.
• Walk tall and proud with confidence. You can tell a lot by the way someone holds themselves, but it's important that you walk with confidence and not with arrogance.
• The first date is make or break. Even if secretly well-planned, make it appear to be a spontaneous series of events that seamlessly flow. Plan everything from picking her up through to making sure she gets home safely.

They are clearly spending their hard earned cash on the wrong clothes, the wrong venues and ultimately the wrong date choice, and it's my job to give them the best possible chance to get it right.
