We referenced this 'holiday' in another article, but felt it was worth a more extensive feature for those of you who weren't paying attention.

Honest, it wasn't like that!
So, then, what is it like?
In a (ahem) nutshell, the 14th of March is a holiday for men, exactly one month you'll notice, after Valentine's Day (which let's face it, is a holiday for women). Men are rewarded for the treats they delivered on the 14th of February with - you got it - a steak and a blowjob*.
And that's it?
That's it.
The day was created in 2002 by Providence, Rhode Island DJ Tom Birdsey, whose MySpace page plays KISS "Detroit Rock City" and is not surprisingly littered with T&A (that's tits & ass to you gentlefolk).

The OED lists 'blow job' as two words, but everything associated with this holiday names it as one word, including The Urban Dictionary, which has multiple listings.
