Want a better sex life? Apparently what you eat can make a big difference. Men's Health did an article chronicling why, and offering a few suggestions you can implement right away. As in this weekend.
Breakfast
Baked cinnamon turns a man on. How convenient, since cinnamon rolls also taste good! Pumpkin pie, doughnuts and black licorice also do the trick, perhaps because the evoke nostalgic memories and relax him. Oddly enough, an Egg McMuffin is good for both partners. The combination of muffin, egg, bacon and cheese provides zinc (leading to lubrication and semen production). It also helps trigger great orgasms, and has the right amount of fat (just right for 'libido-boosting testosterone').
Snacks
Celery has pheromones that help men attract women, which are released during eating. They help boost your arousal, turning you on, and sending off signals making guys more desirable to women. Peanut butter help bloodflow in men, and raisins help bloodflow in women. Rasin-topped peanut butter filled celery sticks, anyone?
The article also has recipes for his and hers smoothies (hers is made with espresso and chocolate syrup and his has blueberries, flaxseeds and yogurt), with primary benefits again being bloodflow.
For her
2 shots of espresso (or 6 ounces of strong coffee)
1 cup skim milk
2 Tbsp dark chocolate syrup
1 cup crushed ice
For him
1 cup blueberries
1 cup vanilla yogurt
2 Tbsp flaxseeds
1 cup orange juice
1 cup ice
