The other day we were getting a facial, and we were reminded that winter - well, it is a-coming. And for once, we're going to try to do right by our skin. But if all else fails, we're entering this great competition from SheerLuxe.com.
We can already see it - the perfect event for our gaggle of gorgeous girls - a Pretty Party at Cowshed for us and eight of our friends. Champagne, canapés, treatments and goodie bags. All taking place at Cowshed's new concept store off of Carnaby Street.

Madame A and Jessica will get an Ultimate Cowshed Mani; Kelly, Michelle and Susie will get a Ultimate Cowshed Pedi; Jane will get a Cowshed Mani and a Toe Wax; Liza will get a Scalp Massage and a Speedy Mani; Tina will get a Polish Change and a Scalp Massage; Sam will get a Polish Change, Speedy Pedi and Toe Wax. And as for Madame B, we only hope she can put down her Champagne glass for long enough to get those lovely digits polished.

And if we don't win, we'll fall back on the old faithfuls:
  • Sleep. And then sleep some more.
  • Drink hot water with lemon. It detoxifies your whole body, and the results will show in your skin.
  • Drink water instead of pretty much everything else (well, except for wine and coffee, maybe).
  • Remember to exfoliate at least once a week. Especially in winter, this can help get lower layer cells producing more rapidly.
  • With central heating drying us out, use lip balm all the time, and if lips get chapped, brush them lightly with warm water and a toothbrush. For the same reason, a little extra moisturiser goes a long way (although this really should be second nature).
Either way, we glow.

Here Is The Writer : The Shopaholics

The Shopaholics Madame A and Madame B live in penthouses down the hall from each other not far from The Square Mile. One works for an American bank, one is just an American. Both require their identities to be secret for a variety of reasons, but mostly because they'd like to stay out of hot water with their partners and bank managers.
